A High Dose of Purple Yarn

My obsession for the colour purple never lets me down when it comes to getting what really interests me. Recently, I found balls of yarn in shades of purple, something to die for, let alone starting to knit.
The one on the extreme right is called 'mole yarn', it's a Japanese yarn from a company called 'Daiso'.

Below is a picture of a scarf (now complete) that I started knitting in shades of white and pink of the same type of yarn. 8 mm knitting needles are a perfect fit for this in terms of getting the right gauge. With so many hobbies, I don't know whether to knit first or to paint.

The Capsicum that I baked ...

Sunday, December 09, 2012 Heba Moeen 0 Comments

One fine, boring, lazy afternoon I discovered two capsicums in the fridge that excited me out of my sheer admiration for them. So I decided to pick one, stuff it and finally bake it.

I got the previous night's dinner out ... and literally stuffed the capsicum. It was spinach and minced meat, though I added some more garlic and black pepper to it with some boiled macaroni. Cheese add delight to such things, since we were out of cheddar or mozzarella cheese I covered the stuffing with a slice of cheese and finally the cap.

Remember to only bake the capsicum for 10 to 15 minutes and not over do it, make it stable with a relevant baking pan or tie it with some thread. This one was big enough to suffice lunch for two. Finally we enjoyed it but before that I took a picture. :)
